Vehicle Propulsion is a dimension containing information on the way in which the vehicle is powered. This includes, for example, petrol, diesel and biofuels. This information is derived from the vehicle's registration mark (VRM) that has been cross-checked by the Department for Transport against the DVLA database.

MAST does not have access to VRMs.
