Vehicle Propulsion is a dimension containing information on the way in which the vehicle is powered. This includes, for example, petrol, diesel and biofuels.
This information has been specially provided to MAST by the Department for Transport who derived this information from the vehicle registration marks (VRMs) of vehicles involved in crashes and cross-checked them against the DVLA database to gain vehicle details.
Details of VRMS are not contained within MAST.
