Strategic Roads

The Strategic road network is designed and maintained by governments in order to move people and freight around the country efficiently and safely.
Strategic roads in England are managed by the Highways Agency on behalf of the Department for Transport. They are not managed by highway authorities. Further details of the HA network can be found on their website.
Strategic roads in England are represented in MAST using two special dimensions:
