The Crash Severity Dimension is a MAST dimension which summarises the overall severity of crashes according to STATS19 returns. It uses MAST's standard Severity Dimension structure.
Crash severity defines the severity of the single most acute casualty as that of the crash overall. It should not be confused with casualty severity, which describes the severity of casualties individually.
