The Crash Severity Dimension is a MAST dimension which summarises the overall severity of crashes according to STATS19 returns. It uses MAST's standard Severity hierarchy structure.
Crash Severity defines the severity of as crash overall as being equal to that of the single most acute resultant casualty. It should not be confused with Casualty Severity, which describes the severity of casualties individually.
